Zhang Hao, a member of the popular kpop group Zerobaseone, will be making his acting debut in the new MBC Friday-Saturday drama “Let’s Go to the Moon.”
“Let’s Go to the Moon,” which premieres on the 19th, is a hyper-realistic survival drama about three women who, faced with economic hardship, dive into cryptocurrency investment. With a star-studded cast including Lee Sun-bin, Ra Mi-ran, Jo A-ram, and Kim Young-dae, the drama’s quality is further enhanced by a stellar lineup of special guest appearances.
Jung Eun-ji, Kang Tae-oh, Noh Jung-eui, Kang Hye-won, and Kim Jung-jin have confirmed guest appearances, demonstrating their warm connections in the entertainment industry. The reunion of Lee Sun-bin and Jung Eun-ji, who previously worked together on “Drunken Ladies,” is expected to delight fans. Kang Tae-oh is also expected to showcase new chemistry as Lee Sun-bin’s blind date partner.

Amidst this, the casting of Zhang Hao is garnering even more attention. His appeal is multifaceted. First and foremost, his unparalleled visuals are his strongest point. Combining Oriental beauty with modern sophistication, Jang Hao’s appearance is expected to shine brightly on screen.
More than anything, Zhang Hao possesses a natural global sensibility. As a Chinese native, his multicultural experience gained while working in Korea will add authenticity to his role as Wei Lin, Jo A-ram’s Chinese boyfriend. His expressiveness and charisma, exemplified by his work on stage as a K-pop idol, are also piqued by curiosity about how he will translate into a new realm: acting.
Despite being a member of a rookie group that debuted in 2023, his decision to take on acting already demonstrates his proactive approach and challenging spirit. As the production team stated, “He plans to show a presence that goes beyond a special appearance,” his potential to leave a lasting impression even in a short appearance is acknowledged.
Zhang Hao’s first acting venture will go beyond simply expanding his personal horizons and showcase the versatility of K-pop idols. With fans at home and abroad eagerly anticipating, “Let’s Go to the Moon” will reveal a new side of him as an actor.
