The upcoming Korean drama is about a mysterious magician named Lee Eul, who introduces magic into the lives of two high school students who live with harsh realities.
Netflix’s the sound of magic is an adaptation of the webtoon by Ha Il Kwon, which has gained huge popularity for its enchanting magical elements and realistic portrayal of a teenage girl’s emotions and thoughts. Itaewon Class and Love in the Moonlight producer Kim Sung Yoon is directing the series, and Who Are You filmmaker Kim Min Jung is writing the script.
Ji Chang Wook plays Rieul, a mysterious magician who lives in an abandoned amusement park. Choi Sung Eun and Hwang In Youp will each play the role of Yoon Ah Yi and Na Il Deung, who struggle between their dreams and their realities.
Netflix’s the sound of magic release date will on May 6.
