Recently, a widely circulated video showed a large number of BLACKPINK fans (Blinks) leaving the Singapore concert right before it ended, specifically before the start of the Encore (the final segment that usually includes extra songs and fan interaction). This sparked mocking discussions across social media platforms.
On November 28, BLACKPINK held the first concert of their Deadline world tour in Singapore at the National Stadium, marking the group’s first return since 2023, and it is scheduled to continue until January 2026. The concert lasted around two hours, but the audience began leaving after the main songs, specifically during the group’s performance of “Young Forever.”
Some internet users accused the members — Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé, and Lisa — of delivering a dull and unenthusiastic performance, pointing out that the concert was boring. These allegations have spread since the beginning of the tour in July 2025, and some believe that the reason behind what they described as boring stages is the members’ focus on their individual projects.
One netizen commented:“Almost all of the shows in this tour are similar—curtains and empty sections everywhere, not using their full capacity, a huge standing section . This is why I don’t like Blinks bragging about BLACKPINK’s insane tour numbers, I know they’re fake .”
Another one added: “One person said the audience began leaving the venue.”
Meanwhile, many fans defended the members, pointing out that the audience was unresponsive, and it seemed they attended the concert mainly to watch a few popular performances such as Rosé’s “APT” collaboration with Bruno Mars. Some also pointed out that Singapore’s audience lacks energy compared to cities in Korea and Europe.
One fan explained: “I noticed that Singapore audiences tend to leave early before the concert ends. This happened during Coldplay and Lady Gaga concerts. They just want to avoid the crowd when taking public transport back home.”
On the other hand, some people confirmed that the audience left early to catch public transportation, which closes early in the city, and to avoid traffic congestion after 9 PM, the time the concert ends.
A concertgoer shared their experience: “I was there. They left while waiting for the Encore to avoid the congestion. It was extremely disappointing.”
