Japanese star Mizuki Itagaki has been found dead at the age of 24 after going missing for a period of time. His family announced the devastating news via an Instagram post.
Japanese actor, model, and singer Mizuki Itagaki, a former member of the boy band M!LK, has been found dead at the age of 24.
His family posted a message on Instagram to update their fans.
“The untimely death of actor Itagaki Mizuki saddens us greatly. We want to express our profound gratitude to all of his admirers who warmly backed him as well as to everyone who collaborated with him.
Mizuki has been absent since the end of January because he has been dealing with mental health problems for the previous 12 months. The Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department recently called us to let us know that his body had been discovered in the city, and police and other agencies have been searching ever since.
We sincerely apologize for not informing everyone who was concerned about him of this news. Mizuki had always put a lot of effort into his acting in the hopes of making everyone happy. It is unfortunate that his life ended this way, as he had just started to take action to go back to work, something he most likely never anticipated.
We sincerely regret not being able to give him a fitting send-off to all those who helped him along the way. I had to tell you this. We really hope that you will always have fond memories of Mizuki and his contributions.

After going missing, Japanese celebrity Mizuki Itagaki was discovered dead at the age of 24.
Previously, Mizuki Itagaki announced his departure from Stardust Promotion last year and closed his official fan club.
