One individual who engaged in cyberbullying and malicious comments about IU, including false death threats and sexual harassment, received a fine of 3 million KRW. However, the defendant has appealed, and the case is awaiting the final outcome.

The agency expressed its concern that this malicious commenter has continued their harassment despite ongoing legal actions.
