CORTIS released the sound source for all the songs from The 1st EP “COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES” and the official music video for the track “FaSHioN” today (8th) at 6pm. Following the activities for the title song “What You Want,” which was announced earlier on the 18th of last month, he is scheduled to take the stage on the music program on “FaSHioN.”
The music video for “FaSHioN” released through HYBE LABELS’ YouTube channel is filmed in snowy mountains, lakes and junkyards in New Zealand, boasting overwhelming visual beauty. The members’ gorgeous performances, which are in contrast to the majestic nature, create a unique atmosphere. The group dances performed in front of the Tasman Glacier in particular are spectacular, with cars shattering into pieces, special effects that boast high level of perfection, and speedy screen changes, leaving a strong impression.
This video was inspired by footage independently produced by the five members during their trainee days. The video was directed Van Jae-yoop, who has worked on videos for numerous hip-hop musicians and famous brand films both domestically and internationally. By extending the innovative ideas unique to teenagers to a large scale and adding a variety of special effects, a sensible work was completed.
Furthermore, tomorrow, the 9th, a Conceptual Performance Film focusing on the choreography of “FaSHioN” will be released. This choreography was also produced by five members, and you will be able to discover CORTIS, which is filled with talent, energy, and enjoys the stage to the fullest.
“FaSHioN” is a song that adds hip-hop elements to the trap sound. They frankly express their lifestyles on the theme of “fashion”, such as “It’s like a seminar, we’re gathering in Hondae, set it off.”
The five members create a path of CORTIS, not just in music but also in fashion. Members MARTIN, JUHOON, SEONGHYEON and KEONHO are credited, and all members participate in choreography production, showing their side as “Young Creator Crew” who co-create the group’s main content.
CORTIS will perform their “FaSHioN” stage for the first time at the “CORTIS The 1st EP [COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES] RELEASE PARTY” to be held at the Hwajeong Gymnasium at 8pm on the 8th. The event will be streamed live through global fandom life platform “Weverse.”
