According to a report published by Newsen on April 14, Jin will release a new album in May.
This is his first solo comeback in six months. Jin, who has made a quick comeback after working hard for his fans, plans to work hard in 2025.
Last November, Jin released his first solo album, “HAPPY,” which expressed his sincere desire to share more happiness. It topped major charts domestically and internationally. On Hanteo’s 2024 annual album chart, it ranked 20th, the highest ranking for a solo artist.
He continues to be active in all areas, not only in music but also in performances and advertisements. Since completing his military service in June of last year, Jin has become a hot topic of conversation every day through his one-on-one meetings with fans. He was selected as a torchbearer for the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics, a global ambassador for the global fashion brand Gucci, and a model for numerous advertisements.
He is also making his mark in the broadcasting industry. Jin showcases his diverse challenges by releasing his own entertainment program, “Run Seok Jin,” every Tuesday on BTS’s official channel, BANGTANTV. He also appeared in the Netflix original entertainment program, “Daehwajang Gianjang,” which premiered on April 8 and topped the Netflix charts. Episodes four through six of “The Great Revolution” will air at 4 p.m. on the 15th.
Jin, who will resume his singing career next month, is expected to lead the first half of 2025 with his new solo music activities, following in the footsteps of BTS’s J-Hope. J-Hope previously released the single “Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)” on March 7 and the single “MONA LISA” on the 21st.
International fans rect to jin solo comeback in May
- We hope to have another great collaboration like Heart On The Window.
- I love how he’s such a big proponent of rest, but you can tell he works extremely hard himself.
- He’s a big proponent of “do whatever you want, whatever makes you happy.” Remember, he played video games for days, and even skipped meals.
- Man, remember the main mission out of 100,000 side missions?
- Anyway, I’m so excited for KSJ2. It’s crazy how he was the member we had to wait the longest for in terms of a solo album, and now he’s joining Namjoon, Hobi, and Jimin in the second round of solo projects.
- We support the king nonstop.
- Cons: BTS is tired and wants to retire. They’ll probably release an album every three or four years, no more. Meanwhile, Jin:
- I hope to see Jin and Slow Rabbit work together again.
- Awesome! I agree. I hope he continues with pop rock music.
- I’m so excited for his latest album. I loved it so much. I hope we get 10 songs this time.
- Oh my god, 6 songs was too few haha.
- Waiting for his second solo album?
- I’m so excited! I can’t wait to hear more of his beautiful voice. I wish there was someone like Epiphany. I love his soulful voice!
