WONDERfools, also known as WONDERfools, is a South Korean drama with a comedic and supernatural power, starring actress and idol Cha Eun-woo and actress Park Eun-bin, along with a strong cast of other actors.
Director Yoo In-shik, who worked on “Extraordinary Lawyer Woo” and “The Fools,” will direct the series. Writer Heo Da-jung, who wrote “Extreme Action,” will write the script. Kang Eun-kyung, who wrote “Dr. Romantic” and “Gyeongsung’s Creature,” will also serve as the writer.
The story, set in 1999, follows Eun Chae-nee (Park Eun-bin), a woman from Haesong City, who experiences turmoil when some believe the end of the world is approaching.
Eun Chae-nee is a moody, bright-eyed person. One day, she has an unexpected accident and suddenly gains supernatural powers. This happens to her neighbors, Son Kyung-hun (Choi Dae-hoon) and Kang Ro-bin (Im Sung-jae). They also gain their own supernatural powers, but their powers aren’t perfect.
Her only relative is her grandmother, Kim Jun-bok (Kim Hye-sook), who runs a popular restaurant in Haesong. Lee Woon-Jeong has a truly strict personality and is committed to his principles, and he also lacks social skills at work. But outside the Great City Hall, he is a somewhat mysterious person.
Soon, Eun Chae-ni begins investigating the series of mysterious events taking place in Haesong City. Ha Won-do (Son Hyun-joo) appears calm and rational, but behind this appearance lies a dark desire. Meanwhile, Eun Chae-ni and her neighbors Son Kyung-hoon and Kang Ro-bin, who have suddenly gained supernatural powers, fight against a villain threatening the peace of Haesong City.

Park Eun-bin will play the role of Eun Chae-ni. With her charming and funny personality, Chae-ni navigates life at the turn of the 20th century in 1999, encountering unexpected events and suddenly gaining supernatural powers.
Cha Eun Woo will play Lee Won Jung, a specially appointed government employee in Haesong who lacks social skills. However, Won Jung is strict and committed to rules and principles at work, and outside the city hall, he is a mysterious figure who collaborates with Chae Ni and deals with the series of disappearances occurring in Haesong with curiosity.
Alongside Park Eun Bin and Cha Eun, Kim Hye Sook will be joining the cast, transforming into Chae Ne’s grandmother and her only family member, Kim Jun Bok. She owns a famous restaurant in Haesung and has a colorful and dark past, which arouses curiosity.

Choi Dae Hoon will also play Son Kyung Hoon, a troublemaker in Haesung, while Im Sung Jae will join him as Kang Robin, known as the weakest member of Haesung. Kyung Hoon and Robin, who get into an accident with Chae Ni and gain superpowers, eventually team up with Chae Ni to fight the villains. The duo of Kyung Hoon and Robin is expected to provide comedic chemistry with Chae Ni and Won Jung, enhancing the storyline.
