‘The Man from Nowhere’ star Won Bin personally attended the funeral of the late Kim Sae-ron to pay his respect, showing his deep sorrow over her passing.
On the afternoon of the 17th, Won Bin visited the funeral of the deceased in Room 7 of the Seoul Asan Medical Center funeral hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul. Won Bin, who has been taking a break from acting for a long time since the movie ‘The Man from Nowhere’, visited the funeral hall in person after hearing the news of the deceased’s death.
Before visiting the funeral, Won Bin also sent a condolence wreath with his wife Lee Na-young’s name on it to the funeral hall.
Won Bin and the deceased acted together as lead actors in the movie ‘The Man from Nowhere’ released in 2010. The film is about former special agent Tae-sik (played by Won Bin) struggling to save the girl next door, So-mi (played by Kim Sae-ron), who followed him like a father, after she was kidnapped by a criminal organization. Through this work, Won Bin was recognized as a leading actor, and the deceased rose to stardom as a child actor.
In addition to Won Bin, actors Han So-hee, Kim Bo-ra, broadcaster Jang Sung-gyu, AKMU’s Lee Soo-hyun, and Lee Chan-hyuk visited the funeral that day to bid farewell to the deceased.
Meanwhile, the deceased was found dead at his home in Seongdong-gu, Seoul at around 4:45 PM on the 16th. It is reported that a friend who was supposed to meet the deceased that day visited the house and reported it to the police. The police stated, “There were no signs of criminal activity, such as signs of external intrusion, and no suicide note was found.”
The deceased’s funeral will be held at 6:20 AM on the 19th. The burial site has not yet been determined.
