TXT Renews Contract For 7 Years … What You Need To Know?

All members of Tomorrow x Together (TXT) have renewed their contracts with Big Hit Music with all five members signing on for another seven years.

On the 22nd, Big Hit Music, a label under Hybe , officially announced the renewal of their contracts with Tomorrow x Together (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai) through a notice posted on the global superfan platform Weverse. In announcing the news, Big Hit Music stated, “We plan to fully support the members in their diverse activities. We will faithfully fulfill our role as a strong supporter and partner, ensuring that the group’s narrative music and performances spread widely around the world. We hope you look forward to the bright future we will create together with Tomorrow x Together.”

On the same day, TXT directly mentioned their contract renewal during the first concert of their fourth world tour, “TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR 〈ACT: TOMORROW〉,” held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.

At the end of the concert, leader Soobin read a handwritten letter, beginning, “Even before we started the concert, we’ve been eagerly awaiting this moment. We’ve been contemplating how we can truly express our sincerity.” He continued, “To keep our promise to go further and longer, all members have renewed their contracts as TXT. Thank you for being with us from our debut, to today, and to this moment when we talk about our future.”

TXT debuted in March 2019 with their first mini-album, “The Dream Chapter: STAR.” Each album has boasted a detailed narrative and established a solid identity with unique visuals and performances.

They are also making a mark on the global stage. Last April, they were the first K-pop group to be invited to “AXE Ceremonia,” one of Latin America’s leading festivals. Prior to this, they performed at Lollapalooza Chicago, the largest music festival in the United States, for two consecutive years (2022-2023). In 2023, they became the first K-pop group to headline the event.

In 2023, their fifth mini-album, “The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION,” topped the Billboard 200, Billboard’s main album chart. At the time, the album set a record, remaining on the chart for 19 consecutive weeks. Their fourth full-length album, “The Star Chapter: TOGETHER,” released in July, also debuted at number three on the Billboard 200, maintaining its position for three weeks, continuing its long-term success.

After announcing the exciting news of contract renewals for all members, TXT will continue their second world tour in Seoul at Gocheok Sky Dome on the 23rd. They will then head to seven cities in the US and three in Japan, starting with San Jose on September 9th.
