Stray Kids‘ Han celebrates his birthday today by donating approximately 100 million won (approximately 73,500 USD)), “May it become a great source of strength and courage.”
According to his agency, JYP Entertainment, today (14th), Han donated a total of 100 million won to Samsung Seoul Medical Center on his birthday.
50 million won (approximately USD 33,500) will be used to support the medical and nursing costs of adult patients with serious illnesses, and 50 million won will be used to support the medical costs of pediatric and adolescent patients.
Han said, “I’m grateful to all the fans who made it possible for me to fill my birthday with meaningful sharing. I hope this feeling reaches those who need it and becomes a great source of strength and courage.”
Through his donations, which meaningfully share the love he receives from his fans, Han is spreading warmth to every corner of society. In April of this year, Stray Kids donated 400 million won (approximately USD 261,000) to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association and 400 million won to the social welfare organization World Vision, totaling 800 million won (approximately USD 462,000), to help with emergency relief efforts following the wildfires that broke out in Ulsan, South Gyeongsang, and North Gyeongsang regions.
A fan on X praised Stray Kids member Han, saying, “As a fan of yours, you are truly amazing and I am proud of you. For everyone to donate in their favorite field on their birthday is truly amazing. Han Jisung is the best!”
Another added: “Our Jisung is so amazing, I’m so proud of him, happy for him, and he deserves all the appreciation… Once again, happy birthday!!!!”
Meanwhile, Stray Kids is making history with their recently released fourth full-length album, “KARMA,” by topping the US Billboard 200, its main album chart, for seven consecutive weeks.
