The identity of the actress who caused the burns to famous star Song Hye-kyo has been revealed by media outlets.
On the morning of April 15, Sports Chosun published a sensational report about actress Kim Guk-hee (known for her role in the drama “When Life Gives You an Orange”) appearing on Channel A’s “Table for 4,” where she shared exciting details about her time filming with Song Hye-kyo in the movie “Dark Nuns.”

Remarkably, Kim Guk-hee revealed during the episode that she had burned the “The Glory” star’s hand with a cigarette! She added, “That day, Song Hye Kyo and I were filming a smoking scene. After the director said ‘cut,’ we put out our cigarettes. There was only one cup to use as an ashtray. When we both reached out at the same time to grab the cup, I accidentally pressed my cigarette into her hand. I immediately asked her if she was okay, and she said she was. Fortunately, the burn left no scar.”
During the episode, the stars couldn’t hide their surprise at the incident, especially actor Jang Hyun Sung, who was shocked and jokingly asked,
“Are you crazy? Were you conscious at the time? Did you really do this to our Song Hye Kyo?”
Kim Guk Hee laughed and replied, “My husband also had the same reaction when I told him. He said, ‘How dare you burn Song Hye Kyo’s hand?'”
Despite the incident, Kim Guk Hee revealed that their relationship improved greatly afterward, and they even became closer:
“I’m still working with her. Thanks to this situation, we’ve developed a strong bond. We can now communicate just by looking at each other and understanding each other. We’ve become very compatible. Even though the project is short, I feel like we have a real connection as two women.”
At the end of the episode, Jang Hyun Sung didn’t miss the opportunity to make one final joke, saying:
“That’s just your opinion… I bet Song Hye Kyo’s manager has been avoiding you since that day!”
