Song Ha Yoon Files New Lawsuit in Bullying Scandal

Actress Song Ha yoon has filed an additional lawsuit against “A,” the person who initially spread allegations of school violence.

According to an Xports News report on the 18th, “A” was sued again by Song Ha-yoon on the 22nd of last month for defamation and obstruction of business through abuse of authority.

“It seems like she’s just trying to push through. I feel like she hasn’t shown even the slightest remorse,” said “A,” who was sued a second time.

“It’s no different from the perpetrator suing the victim. If she had just apologized, they wouldn’t have exposed it. It’s Song Ha-yoon herself who’s making the situation worse.”

“A,” who denies spreading, fabricating, or distorting false information, plans to return to Korea soon to undergo police questioning. She previously stated that she is a U.S. citizen and legally residing in the United States.

She expressed her firm stance, saying, “If I return to Korea, I will sue Song Ha-yoon for false accusation.”

Regarding this, Song Ha-yoon’s legal representative, Jium Law Firm, told Xports News, “It is true that additional charges have been filed against “A” .”

“A” revealed on JTBC’s “Chief of Staff” last April that when she was a second-year high school student, she was called in by her senior, then-third-year student S (Song Ha-yoon), and slapped for 90 minutes without reason. She also claimed that Song Ha-yoon was involved in another school violence incident and was forced to transfer schools. Her agency has completely denied these allegations.

On the 2nd of last month, about a year after the allegations of school violence were first raised, Song Ha-yoon’s agency stated, “We have collected extensive evidence to prove that the claims made by A, the initial source of the allegations, are false. Based on this evidence, we have filed a criminal complaint.” They added that they have filed a complaint against A for violation of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, etc. (defamation) and obstruction of business by hierarchical abuse.

The legal representative explained, “Song Ha-yoon never committed any violence against A during high school, nor was she forced to transfer schools due to school violence. We have submitted public records, notarized statements, and evidence to the investigative authorities that reveal these claims to be false.”

“A” then posted two statements on an online community, denying Song Ha-yoon’s claims, stating, “I have never spread, fabricated, or distorted false information.”

She once again asserted that Song Ha-yoon did not voluntarily transfer schools, but was forced to transfer due to school violence.

Regarding Song Ha-yoon’s claim that she is not cooperating with the investigation due to her U.S. citizenship, she stated, “I have already submitted sufficient written statements and supporting evidence, ample contact with the police, and have faithfully cooperated with the investigation. There is no reason to compel her to attend, which would incur enormous costs and time, and there is no legal basis for compelling the attendance of someone residing overseas.”
