On the 25th, tvN announced the release date for “Our Blues” starring Shin min ah and Kim woo bin.
The posted video shows various characters living in the beautiful Jeju Island. Notably, celebrity couple Shin Min Ah and Kim Woo Bin grab attention as they pull off their personas perfectly in the released clip. However, reports indicate that the two likely won’t cross paths on the show.
The teaser shared a glimpse of Lee Byung Hun’s transformation into a country storekeeper who uses a dialect native to the island. It also featured Shin Min Ah and Cha Seung Won as a mysterious woman named Min Sun Ah, who had just moved to the island, and a posh townsman named Choi Han Soo, who returned to his hometown. Han Ji Min will appear also on the show as a rookie haenyeo (diver) named Lee Young Ok, who will bicker with her ship’s captain named Park Jung Joon, played by Kim Woo Bin. Finally, Um Jung Hwa will play the role of a woman named Ko Mi Ran who decides to return to the island after having had enough of her city life.
Our Blues is a collaborative project between writer Noh Hee Kyung and Kim Kyu Tae, who have already produced wonderful dramas like That Winter, the Wind Blows, and It’s okay, That’s Love.
