K-pop kings SEVENTEEN are going to celebrate their 10th debut anniversary in a big way—by dropping their long awaited 5th full album “HAPPY BURSTDAY” on May 26, 2025. The news was announced on April 21 via SEVENTEEN’s social media where they posted a 2025 schedule video including a comeback, unit debut, tour and more.
This album is SEVENTEEN’s first full album since “Face the Sun” in 2022, almost three years in the making. The title “HAPPY BURSTDAY” is a combination of “birthday” and “burst”, meaning SEVENTEEN will be reborn with explosive energy as a new version of themselves. It means they will start a new chapter with passion and innovation while honoring their decade long journey.
Debuted on May 26, 2015, SEVENTEEN has been breaking the rules in the K-pop industry with their bold concepts, synchronized performances and self-producing talent. For the past ten years, they have gained a global fanbase, CARATs and became role models for the next generation of K-pop stars.
To build up the hype, SEVENTEEN hinted at the comeback during their March fan meeting with the message “2025.05.26. HAPPY BURSTDAY” on the LED screens. They followed up with a teaser video invitation and fans are getting more curious.
Pledis Entertainment said, “SEVENTEEN will release ‘HAPPY BURSTDAY’ and various global content and performances to celebrate their 10th anniversary. Please look forward to their activities this year.”
Also, SEVENTEEN is preparing for their 2025 Japan Fan Meeting ‘HOLIDAY’ on April 24 and April 26-27 at Kyocera Dome Osaka and May 10-11 at Saitama Super Arena.
