Rose First K-Pop Artist to Win Song of the Year at MTV VMAs

On the 7th (local time), Rose won the “Song of the Year” in the main category at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards (2025 MTV VMA) held at UBS Arena in New York, USA. The award-winning song was “APT.” sung by Rose and Bruno Mars, which was recorded as the “biggest hit of a lifetime.” This is the first time a K-POP artist has won the award in this category.

When Rose took the stage wearing a golden dress, she said “unbelievable,” and then said, “I am truly grateful to Bruno (Mars) for trusting me and helping me first. It’s the moment when the efforts I’ve done so far have paid off. I’m happy to receive this award.”
