A disagreement has erupted within NewJeans‘ Parents, with reprts suggesting that conflict involves the family of either Haerin or Hyein, over the termination of their contract with ADOR. According to a report by Chosun Biz, the parents of one of the minor NewJeans members disagree with this decision. One parent reportedly supports the termination of the contract, while the other opposes it.
The minor NewJeans members need the consent of both parents to cancel their contract. However, the NewJeans’ Parents have been unable to reach an agreement.
This has led to a hearing in family court to attempt to resolve the conflict. In March, NewJeans’ legal representatives confirmed that there was tension within one of the families. On April 3, the Seoul Central District Court announced that the parents still disagreed. This prevented the application of joint parental authority.
