The former CEO of Ador, Min Heejin, has announced his departure from HYBE. There is rising concern that her close friends, known as ‘Min Line,’ will depart Ador as well.
On the 21st, Japan’s Asahi TV stated, “Former ‘NewJeans Mom’ Min Heejin has left Ador.” According to the media outlet, “After being dismissed from HYBE, Min Heejin continued her legal battles but eventually resigned from her position as an internal director, saying ‘Further efforts are a waste of time.'” Many of the staff members who supported Min Heejin and NewJeans’ activities are also anticipated to resign shortly.”
This has prompted suspicion that Min Heejin, who recently left HYBE, may be creating a new team with NewJeans.
If all of the staff members who helped form NewJeans, plan its concept, and develop its albums and worldview depart Ador, the company’s identity will effectively disappear. Furthermore, if these departing employees join Min Hee-jin, the location they visit could be interpreted as an Ador that has simply changed its name. This begs the question of whether NewJeans’ future decisions can be predicted.
