Her early life and family
Megan Meiyok Skiendiel is a multicultural global talent born on February 10, 2006 in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA.
Born to a Swedish-American father and a Chinese-Singaporean mother, she is Eurasian and has a unique upbringing, growing up in Hawaii and Singaporean culture.
When she turned 10, she moved to LA and began acting, dancing, and modeling in earnest. She passed the HYBE UMG audition in 2021 and began her life as a K-POP trainee. As a result, she was selected as the final 4th place winner of the global audition program in 2023, making her name known to the world as KATEYE Megan.
