The story of the series Red Sky
Hong Chin Ki Set during the Joseon Era, Hong Chin Ki (Kim Yoo Jung) is a painter with a genius equal to her talent for painting. She was also chosen as the first female painter in the Dohwaseo (Royal Korean Academy of Painting). But Hong Chen Kee also has a beautiful appearance and a bright personality. So painting, to her, is everything, by chance she met Ha Ram (Ahn Hyo Seop), an officer in Seowoongwan, an office in charge of astronomy, geography, divination, and meteorology. When he was young, an accident left him blind. Although he is blind, Hong Chen Qi falls in love with him. So she keeps appearing in front of Ha Ram, who finds himself waiting for her with time.

Adapted from the two-volume novel “Hong Cheon-Ki” by Jung Eun-Gwol, both published in December 2016 by Paran Media. The main character of the drama Hong Cheon-Ki is a real historical figure, while the novel mixes fact and fiction in its events. Gong Myung has been offered the main supporting role, and he is currently considering the offer positively.
