Kim Junsu Blackmailed by Female BJ Over Private Audio

Former TVXQ member Kim Junsu has become the victim of a blackmail plot by a female streamer from the popular Korean platform AfreecaTV. The woman, identified as “A,” allegedly extorted over ₩800 million KRW (approximately $569,000 USD) from Junsu after threatening to release private audio recordings of intimate conversations between the two.

The Gyeonggi Northern Police have confirmed that an arrest warrant has been issued for the female streamer on charges of extortion. According to the investigation, “A” met Kim Junsu in 2019, and during their interactions, she secretly recorded intimate conversations of a sexual nature. She then used the audio files as leverage to demand large sums of money from him. The blackmail occurred on at least 101 separate occasions, spanning from September 2020 to October 2024.

The police report further revealed that “A” used the money she extorted from the singer to support a drug habit. She is also under investigation for drug-related charges, and her case is currently being handled by the Seoul Central District Court. Authorities are looking into whether the investigation into her drug use contributed to the public exposure of the blackmail scheme.
