Rumors about Jungkook and Winter have resurfaced again, after their secret overlapping appearance in Japan. This time, it is based on a mysterious photo allegedly showing Jungkook in Japan and Winter’s unexplained absence from her group’s flight.
In particular, on November 7, NingNing and Giselle appeared at Incheon International Airport heading to Japan. Later, Karina also departed. But Winter’s absence raised questions and speculations that she might have traveled earlier and secretly.
On November 8, Winter appeared on stage at their concert, “2025 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK : aeXIS LINE – in JAPAN”, part of their 2025 Japan arena tour, which supports the theory that she left secretly before the other members.
Meanwhile, a day after aespa’s concert, a Japanese photographer (Halie @jjnzhu00) shared a photo of a person who turned out to be Jungkook. Although the photographer mentioned that the photo was taken a few days ago, an internet user on Reddit pointed out that the photographer later clarified that the picture was from late October 2025. This timing matches aespa’s Japan arena tour, which was announced on May 25, 2025.
However, fans connect Jungkook’s appearance in Japan and Winter’s secret trip as not just a coincidence, pointing out that Jungkook stopped his regular livestreams and said that he would not do any broadcast for a while, leading some to believe that they used their vacation time to travel together.
This new coincidence, which joins the series of times their trips overlapped along with shared items and even playlist similarities, made many fans of both stars believe that there is a relationship between them, despite the absence of any official statements.
