On the morning of the 11th, BTS members J-Hope and Jungkook departed for New York, USA, via Incheon International Airport, for a private schedule.
Reporters appeared to take photos and ask a few questions. However, one reporter angered fans as the two stars entered the main airport. The reporter asked Jungkook if he had lost a lot of weight. Netizens criticized the reporter for his seemingly inappropriate question, and his second response further fueled fans’ anger, as he continued a thread that many find offensive. The idol remained calm, but fans were quick to defend him. They commented:
