On October 2, Jimin held a live on the official fan communication platform Weverse. This came after he attended the Dior fashion show in Paris, France, as an official ambassador on October 1 (local time) and then interacted with fans.
During the broadcast, Jimin shared about his recent activities: “Since there’s nothing to prepare for performances yet, I’ve been working hard on the album. I’ve also been dieting through running. I’m not at the stage of having choreography yet or anything like that. I’ll try to do it quickly so it doesn’t get delayed any further. Right, it’s time for BTS to make a comeback now,” he began.
After completing his military service in June, Jimin began preparing for a comeback with BTS in July. BTS is planning a large-scale world tour alongside their comeback in the spring of 2026.
Regarding this, Jimin said, “I’m also really looking forward to it. I’m working hard on the album. It’s going to be an album I’m really curious to see how you all will feel about. Since I can’t spoil too much, I’ll hold back my words… but for us, it will be an album we all think of as very precious.”
Jimin added, “I’m so happy that I was able to come back like this after such a long time. Now that I’ve finished the military, there won’t be any more gaps. Once the album comes out next year, I’ll have to travel around (overseas) to meet you all. I want to keep showing you good sides of me. When the album comes out, I’m really curious about how you will react and what you will feel.”
He also, for the first time, confessed his feelings regarding the recent controversy over his private life. Jimin revealed, “There have been a lot of things happening… Anyway, I want to continue showing good sides of myself to fans and to many people, but living life well isn’t an easy thing. And becoming a good adult and living a good life — I’ve been feeling more and more that these aren’t easy things.”
Jimin continued, “That’s right. I just have to do well. I have to do well from now on. Becoming an adult isn’t easy, and it’s just pretending to be an adult. Anyway, I’ll keep trying to live well, keep trying to show good sides of myself, and I wanted to come here after a long time to talk about that.”
Finally, Jimin said, “You don’t have to worry about me. Thank you so much for today. Thank you to everyone who came, who watched over me. Thank you to those who made things beautiful, too. See you in Korea.”
Meanwhile, Jimin has recently gained significant attention after rumors of his relationship with actress Song Da Eun resurfaced. The rumors, which began in 2022, were recently settled with a statement from his agency following the actress’s sharing of the elevator video. The agency confirmed that the two were on “mutual affection” but are no longer together.
