A post questioning whether Suzy had a nose job has reignited one of K-pop’s oldest debates, but this time, fans weren’t having it.
The post, which started trending late July, shows older photos of Suzy where her nose appears rounder, with the caption:
“Suzy nose job – people keep spamming this like it’s a fact, but it’s literally just angle differences. They act like one pic is proof she had surgery.”

Turns out…korean netizens had a lot to say.
- “If you look at other old pics, it’s obvious she didn’t get a nose job. People just pretend she did on purpose.”
- “I thought this was an old post lol. So what if she did?”
- “All those celeb dudes and girls on TV? They all get work done.”
- “It looks super natural though, you can tell right away.”

One person explained how angles can totally change how someone’s features appear on camera:
“Depending on the angle, her nose still sometimes looks round now too. There are plenty of old pics where her nose looks the same as now — people just cherry-pick.”

Others defended Suzy’s visuals completely:
- “Anyone can tell she didn’t do anything. Only the jealous ones nitpick.”
- “As someone who’s dieted, when you lose weight, your features get way sharper — including your nose. She looked good even when she was a bit fuller in school, why are people obsessed?”
- “Her own selfies aren’t even as pretty as random paparazzi shots LOL.”
And of course, the classic “even if she did” argument came in:
- “Even if she got a bit done, Suzy’s always been pretty. Can’t compare her to those who got a whole new face.”
- “Whether she did or didn’t, who cares? Y’all scream over looks anyway. Hating on pretty people doesn’t make you any better.”
Others blamed fanwars:
- “Yoona stans still doing this kind of mess, huh.”
- “It’s just Blinks being unhinged again.”
But one comment might’ve summed it all up best:
“You’re just mad she’s pretty. Picking apart her face won’t make yours better.”
At the end of the day, fans (and haters) will always find something to argue about — but Suzy remains one of Korea’s most naturally loved visuals, and honestly, it shows in every era.
