2PM member’s Lee Junho and YoonA from girl band Girls’ Generation’s be reuniting for a new romantic comedy-drama series, following the excellent chemistry of ‘2021 MBC Gayo Daejejeon’!
Junho and YoonA have been cast in the lead role in the drama “King of the Land” (working title), which revolves around the story of hoteliers.
Lee Junho will play the chaebol son of a large family that owns a conglomerate of luxury hotels, airlines, and distribution, Go Won. Trapped in the midst of a fierce inheritance battle, Goo Won possesses the brains, elegance, and charm to stand out at the forefront. However, he is completely uneducated in the field of romance.
YoonA will play a hotelier with a smile that can light up the world, Chose Sa Rang. She decides to become a hotelier in “King of the Land” because of the happiest memory of her childhood, which happened in the same hotel.
Meanwhile, YoonA is preparing for her return to the small screen with a comedy-drama with actor Lee Jong-suk in “Big Mouth”. Lee Junho’s comeback after his successful 2021 show the red sleeve, so viewers are excited for the couple’s next drama.
The drama will be jointly produced by NPIO Entertainment and BY4M Studio. Filming is expected to begin next fall, 2022. What do you think of the new duo getting together in a romantic comedy?
