A Day After Their Comeback, TWS’ Popularity Skyrockets and Sets a New Record for Them
Boy group TWS just made a comeback with their 3rd mini album “TRY WITH US” on April 21, 2025.
The boy group is under Pledis Entertainment and is often referred to as Seventeen’s ‘little brother’.
Since their debut, TWS immediately attracted a lot of attention, because it was the first time Pledis Entertainment formed a boy group since Seventeen, 9 years ago.
TWS debuted on January 22, 2024 with six members, namely Shinyu, Dohoon, Youngjae, Hanjin, Jihoon, and Kyungmin.
As of April 22, according to Hanteo Chart, a website that aggregates album sales, TWS’ third mini album “Try With Us” has sold 456,557 copies.
The sales were achieved only on the day of its release. And immediately ranked first on the daily album charts.
This is a new record for TWS, namely the highest album sales on the first day, surpassing the previous album “Last Bell” which sold 338,719 copies in the same period.
TWS’ First comeback receives positive feedback
Previously it was also known that the album “Try With Us” received Pre-Orders of more than 500 thousand copies.
A day after its release, the album immediately entered the global album charts such as Apple Music and iTunes in China, Macau, Hong Kong.
The album’s title track “Isn’t It Cool to Follow Your Heart?” also immediately rose to the top of the Bugs and Genie real-time charts.
It entered MelOn’s ‘Top 100’ within 24 hours and was at 86th position early this morning.
The boy band will be promoting through Mnet’s M Countdown on April 24. Then they will also
TWS will start their promotion by appearing on KBS Cool FM’s ‘Lee Eun-ji’s Gayo Plaza’ tomorrow, the 23rd.
Then continue the Showcase on Mnet’s M Countdown on April 24th. SBS Power FM’s ‘Wendy’s Young Street’ on the same date, and KBS COOL FM’s ‘Oh My Girl Hyojung’s Volume Up’ on the 25th.
