Rumors of dating between LE SSERAFIM’s Eunchae and a famous actor sparked unexpected reactions from Korean netizens.
When Eunchae was an MC on Music Bank, rising actor Moon Sang Min joined her. Although they were not co-MCs for long, photos of their interactions during broadcasts and at the LE SSERAFIM concert became a hot topic on the Korean forum Nate Pann.
In a popular post that gained over 32,000 views, the original poster claimed that the level of closeness and familiarity between them was surprising, and since he didn’t know much about them outside the show, he left the broadcast wondering if something was going on.
Netizens showed mixed reactions to the post. While some brought up the rumors surrounding IVE’s Wonyoung and Byeon Woo Seok, saying this situation seems much more justified than a simple award show greeting, others criticized the original poster, saying he was overthinking and that sometimes it’s just normal closeness between friends.
However, the post was later deleted from the forum, which fueled even more suspicion about Eunchae’s relationship with actor Moon Sang Min. Looking back at their past interactions, fans discovered that Moon Sang Min followed Eunchae on Instagram in May 2024.
Fans also revisited their comments about each other during their appearance on the program “In the Middle of Summer, Swedish Strengthening Food Is the Answer(?) – Eunchae’s Diary with Friday Partner — Mukbang With Bank Manager Sang Min.” During that time, Eunchae said, “He’s someone I can’t easily understand, and it’s our first time filming together. I’m not sure if I can lead the episode well. He seems like a free spirit,” hinting at their close dynamic with her comment: “He was upset and kept asking why I invited him so late. I’ll try to film a fun episode to make up for it.”
Meanwhile, Moon Sang Min shared more about their close relationship by revealing that they had eaten together and communicated through private messages, saying: “I sent her a DM hoping she would read it someday. A week passed and I got no reply, so I told her to check her messages. I waited thinking she would respond… but another week passed, and still nothing,” expressing his frustration. Eunchae then apologized, saying: “I feel sorry about that.”
