Recently, Several leaked clips of BTS member Jungkook alongside a woman believed to be his ex-girlfriend have spread online, with some users claiming that the woman is actress Chae Yeo-been. Additionally, other leaked clips from 2023, allegedly taken by a sasaeng from inside his apartment, resurfaced.
However, as these clips went viral, some ARMYs noticed that a wave of hate posts targeting the other BTS members began flooding Korean forums, sparking debate about who might be behind them.
The latest of these posts was shared on the Pann forum and reignited the old controversy about Jimin and Taehyung’s performance of “Spring Day” at Jin’s concert. At the time, the members received heavy criticism, while fans defended them, saying the performance was spontaneous and unrehearsed — especially since Jimin hadn’t planned to perform and appeared without in-ear monitors.
Although more than two weeks have passed since the concert, one netizen posted a controversial comment:
“At Jin’s solo concert, Jin, V, and Jimin had a live singing disaster and were ridiculed for it. HYBE deleted all the YouTube Shorts that went viral ㅋㅋㅋㅋ especially the ones that were gaining views and had negative comments ㅋㅋㅋㅋ. But the same clips where the ‘ahjummas’ left positive or defensive comments are still there ㅋㅋㅋㅋ. HYBE is silencing criticism about their off-key singing like this, unbelievable… ㅋㅋㅋㅋ”
Fans quickly linked the post to an attempt by Jungkook’s fans to defame the other BTS members and divert attention from his recent leak controversy. Here are some of the reactions:
