Yoon Ji On Involved In Shocking Scandal, Withdraws From Drama

According to broadcasting industry sources on the 17th, Yoon Ji-on‘s exclusive contract with Eum Hash Tag expired on July 6th. Yoon Ji-on is currently looking for a new home, and Ieum Hashtag is reportedly assisting him with work related to his previously confirmed projects until he finds a new agency.

According to a media outlet, Yoon Ji-on will be leaving Channel A’s new drama “I Have a Baby” midway through filming after being caught for drunk driving. The production team has not yet been reached for comment.

“I Have a Baby” began filming in July of this year. Starring Yoon Ji-on and Oh Yoon-seo, it’s a reverse romantic comedy about a couple who have vowed never to get married in this life and whose one-night stand escalates into a speeding incident. The drama is scheduled to air next year.

Meanwhile, actor Yoon Ji-on poses at the production conference for the new tvN weekend drama “Mom’s Friend’s Son,” held at the Ramada Hotel in Guro-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 14th. “Mom’s Friend’s Son” is a tumultuous neighborhood romance about a woman trying to rebuild

troubled life and her dark past, “Mom’s Friend’s Son.” The drama premieres on the 17th at 9:20 PM.

Yoon Ji On Breaks Silence With Heartfelt Instagram Apology

Taking to Instagram, he apologized, saying “I am deeply saddened and sorry to share the news of such an unfortunate incident.”

Yoon Ji On explained his drunk driving case, saying, “On September 16, I was so drunk that I couldn’t remember and made the mistake of moving a parked motorcycle across the road without permission.”

Yoon Ji On continued, “I have since admitted to all charges and now understand the damages,” adding, “I am truly shameless because I have hurt and disappointed many people who supported me through my reckless actions.”

He also stated, “I will be vigilant and live with remorse for the rest of my life so that this does not happen again.” He added, “I will work hard on the investigation that will be conducted in the future and accept the punishment that will be handed down.”

Finally, Yoon Ji On expressed his apology once again, saying, “There is no room for excuses,” and “I bow my head and apologize once again.”

Born in 1990, Yoon Ji-on debuted in theater in 2013 and first gained recognition in 2019 when he appeared in the JTBC drama “Melo Is My Nature” as a replacement for Oh Seung-yoon, who had been forced out of the drama due to charges of aiding and abetting drunk driving. Yoon Ji-on, who had seized the opportunity after another actor’s drunk driving incident, ended up leaving the drama for the same reason.
