Ahead of their November debut, the five-member boy group AM8IC has unveiled their full group visuals.
TOV Entertainment has sequentially released individual and group profile images for AM8IC’s Saho, Minkai, Chungyi, Roux, and Chen through their official social media accounts.
Meet the Members of AM8IC
Saho is the group’s ace, skilled in all positions, including singing, dancing, and rapping, and is gaining attention as a member with potential as an “all-rounder.”
Lead rapper Minkai is the group’s leader and eldest member. Chungyi, the tallest member at 186cm, is the main vocalist with a captivating voice, possessing a wide vocal range and solid singing ability.
Roux, the main dancer. Born in 2004, Chen is the youngest member and main rapper. He’s a next-generation artist with his dynamic rap skills and unique producing sense.
The Meaning Behind the Name AM8IC
In the group image, AM8IC’s dazzling visuals and the powerful synergy among the members garnered attention. Showing both a rookie-like freshness and a powerful presence amid a calm and restrained mood, AM8IC foreshadows the group’s diverse colors and limitless possibilities.
Along with this, the album’s prologue film, reminiscent of a blockbuster film, was released on the 8th via official social media. The worldview is based on a false “dream world” created by the spider-like dream god “Lukoye,” and unfolds in three chapters: “Connections that transcend destiny,” “Growth that shatters lies,” and “Salvation that follows hope.” In the video, the members showcase their delicate acting skills, adding immersiveness to the storytelling, raising expectations for AM8IC’s soon-to-be unveiled debut album.
The group’s name, AM8IC, combines “AMBI-,” meaning both ways, and “CONNECT,” meaning to connect, to express the idea that lost boys will move forward toward growth and salvation through true connections with each other. With their debut looming in November, the group is pouring all their energy into final preparations.
