Girls’ Generation Yuri’s brother

In 2019, the Burning Sun sex scandal grabbed international news and shook the Korean entertainment industry. Kwon Hyuk Jun, the older brother of Yuri from Girls’ Generation, was one of the culprits implicated.

Kwon, Jung Joon Young, Choi Jonghoon, Burning Sun employee “Kim,” and former entertainment agency employee “Heo” were all accused of gang rape, as well as shooting and distributing sex tapes. In November 2019, Kwon was convicted guilty of sexual assault and illegal chatroom activity. His punishment was reduced from the requested ten to four years in prison. Kwon, who previously dreamed of becoming a singer, has changed his name from Kwon Hyuk Jun to Kwon Yeon Oh.

HA:TFELT’s Father

HA:TFELT, formerly known as Wonder Girls’ Yeeun, faced a lawsuit for her father’s involvement in a fraud case. Pastor Park, the father of HA:TFELT, has been accused of pocketing money from his followers. HA:TFELT denied any role in her father’s scam and criticized his actions.

In February 2017, Pastor Park was fined severely and sentenced to six years in jail for scamming 150 people of 19,700,000,000 won (about $17.5 million USD). He was also accused of sexually assaulting one of his followers, a lady in her twenties.

Takahashi Minami’s mother is a former AKB48 member.

Takahashi Minami’s mother, a J-Pop idol, TV personality, and former member of the girl group AKB48, was jailed in 2012 for engaging in sex with her younger brother’s 15-year-old

Minami’s mother met the youngster at the Takahashi family home, an apartment in Hachioji, where he and her son’s other friends were hanging out. Minami’s mother informed police after her arrest that she was obliged to engage in sexual encounters in order to safeguard her son. “I had to because they (the other boys) were threatening my son,” she told me. She was fined 500,000 yen (about $3,293 USD) for breaking an ordinance governing youth development.

KARA Goo Hara’s mother

Goo Hara, died on November 24, 2019, at her home in Gangnam, Seoul. Following Goo Hara’s death, her estranged mother contacted her older brother, Goo Ho In, and attempted to claim a 50% portion of the property.

In response, Goo Ho In launched a lawsuit and advocated for legal changes to prohibit neglectful parents from receiving inheritance rights. In 2020, the Gwangju Family Court allocated 40% of the inheritance to Goo Hara’s mother and 60% to her brother.

Super Junior. Leeteuk’s father

On January 6, 2014, Leeteuk’s father and grandparents were discovered deceased in their home. According to police sources, Leeteuk’s father, Park Yong In, committed murder-suicide, killing all three.

Park, who had suffered from melancholy and debt, murdered his parents, both of whom had dementia, before hanging himself. According to the police, Leeteuk’s father intended to admit his parents to a nursing home but changed his mind. While delivering a lecture at a high school in Kyungjoo headlined “There is no hope without despair,” Leeteuk disclosed his father’s final, hateful comments to him: “Do you truly believe you achieved success all by yourself?”
